I've ordered from here twice and even before I get my order confirmation my doorbell is ringing. Both orders came in less than 10 minutes so I question how freshly prepared the food is. Each time I ordered pad Thai, pad see-ew, and dumplings and they were alright. Nothing to write home about.
Posted 3 months ago by Kelly M.
The pad thai is tasty and I love that they do a spicy version. Also, recommend the tom kha soup and shrimp rolls. They are very quick to deliver never waiting the hour allotted time.
Posted 5 months ago by Staci S.
Osha has the best pad thai on the UES! It is my whole apartment's go to place when we want veggie pad thai. The shrimp spring rolls are also delicious, with a nice carrot sauce. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for some great thai food

Very good flavours but surprisingly quick
Posted 6 months ago by Anna R.
Delivery is always timely. Weirdly, the food is different every time I order, but it's still the best overall Thai that I've found on Seamless for the UES. The Papaya Salad is usually quite good — sometimes extremely spicy. The curries are fine, and the Pad Thai is good enough. Avoid the Chicken Satay (rubbery and the peanut sauce is "meh").

This is my favorite Thai place on the UES! The food is always so good and takeout is fast. Staff is super polite always have a good experience! The Kea Moa with shrimp is my favorite.

Super! Great vegetarian options.

This place is really hit or miss. Some nights the food is outstanding, other nights not so much. I still order here on a regular basis though. The appetizers are all good and the pad thai is pretty reliable.

The payaya salad is must have! Absolutely delicious- perfect mix of spices.
Delivery: I live 7 blocks away and it was delivered within 15 mins ??????

Good Thai Food, fast delivery...
Posted 8 months ago by Manuel D.
The food was OK at best- expected a lot more based on online reviews. Our Thai Basil Fried Rice had NO basil whatsoever in it.. that in itself was very disappointing. The pad thai was candy- sweet, lacking any savory flavors. The best dish was the Rama chicken with peanut sauce- it arrived hot and had a good savory and sweet balance. We will probably not order again since there are so many other Thai restaurants in the area that do a better job on all the dishes we've tried from here (Thai Basil fried rice, Tom Yum soup, Fresh roll, chicken satay, vegetable pad Thai, Rama Chicken).

Go to thai on UES! Never had a bad meal, order once a week!
Posted 9 months ago by malorie s.
Appropriately sized portions for the amount of money that each costs. The prices are outstanding.
Posted 9 months ago by Eleanor N.
Order arrived extremely fast...I think they are psychic and knew my order before I out it in. Seriously. It came within 15-20 min. Food was hot, good.
Posted 9 months ago by Rebecca M.
Delivery was quick, much faster than the window provided. Food was quite good, but I felt that the portions were a bit small. I paid $1 extra for more vegetables, but they still seemed quite scant.

Love OSHA, always such fresh ingredients, and the delivery time is always fast (despite what they say write).

Our favorite thai place on the UES. its nice to eat in - very cute tiny place with nice interior (love the chandeliers :)) and its great for take out. amazing flavors, fresh ingredients. we love the papaya salad and cee yew noodles. definitely a neighborhood favorite :)

They are so fast even though it saids the wait time is 30-45 mins they come in like 15-20 mins. The food is delicious as well!!! I'm always reordering from Osha!!!!
Posted 10 months ago by Jennifer M.
I order from them at least every other week. The kea moa is really delicious and just the right amount of spice. I wish the noodles were more intact instead of pieces but it is very good.

Osha is a bargain! The Kea Moa is spicy and very flavorful. I eat it nearly once a week.
Posted 10 months ago by Alexandra M.
Not good. Over salted beef - didn't provide chopsticks.
Posted 11 months ago by mike c.
Ordered the massaman curry -- I guess I didn't read the description when I ordered but I was surprised that it was made with cashews instead of peanuts. The result -- a slightly sweeter version than I was expecting. Still good but not as satisfying as I had hoped. I'd order again to try other dishes but won't be getting the massaman curry again.

Always consistent delivery and a great place to eat: clean, friendly staff who are Thai which lets you customize. Having spent a year in Thailand I'm extremely picky. This is my favorite for my quick Thai fix on the upper east.
Posted a year ago by Aaron H.
they forgot the peanuts on my papaya salad. Pad thai was pretty good
Posted a year ago by Faye R.
This is my go-to Thai place in the neighborhood. I'm always happy with the food. Although there are always people in the restaurant, which is small with a nice atmosphere, I've never had trouble getting a table. I like the calamari appetizer when I eat there and the Rama and Satay when I get delivery. Delivery is always reliable and the prices are good. They are also super-friendly. What more can you ask for, really.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! I used to love this place -- Like order from it every week. The quality and customer service have gone down substantially over the past year. The past two orders I have placed have taken over 2 hours. In fact, I just canceled an order after waiting 2.5 hours. When I called, they laughed and said they forgot to make it. Not cool - especially since every other Thai place on the UES will deliver under 30 minutes. Sorry Osha - but you just lost a loyal customer. Order at your own risk!

This is one of my go-to places on Seamless. I get the spicy fried brown rice with tofu and extra vegetables. The portions are great, ingredients are fresh, and the service is almost always lightning-fast. Love it.

I order from Osha at least once a week and have always had great service and great food. Their Shrimp Pad Thai is truly delicious--the shrimp are perfectly prepared, which is not always the case in many restaurants. They always deliver within the estimated delivery time.

Great food every time. Today, I accidentally chose "pick up" instead of "delivery" (so dumb - I know) but when I called they were really nice about sending it out. Not sure how good it will be since it sat there waiting for me to come and get it for about 40 minutes before I called, but they didn't laugh when I told them. They have a gold star in my book!

Best Thai delivery on UES!!
Posted a year ago by MAX P.
My favorite Thai place in the city! I remember going here when it was new and a BYOB place for dine-in…and now they have a liquor license. I love the food, it's always great quality. The papaya salad is the BEST I have had in NYC. The pad thai is amazing. I am weird about meat sometimes, but I never hesitate when ordering from Osha. The curries are all great, whether you get the veggies or meat or seafood in them. Delivery is always fast and my food is always hot upon arrival. They also have amazing customer service on the off chance that an order is incorrect.

Ordered from here because of the great reviews. Pad Thai is one of my favorite foods and I like trying different places to find my favorite in the ues. Delivery was quick but shrimp pad thai was plain and tasteless. I wouldn't order again.

TERRIBLE! STAY AWAY!
Can't talk about the food, but definitely the worst delivery experience I have ever had. Delivery time was more than doubled and I still had not gotten my food. I called for the third time, where I was lied to about my food being out for delivery and asked them to cancel my order. Then when I asked the woman to refund me because I wasn't going to pay for food I never got, she acted like my request was ridiculous!

I've ordered from most Thai places on UES and this is one of my favorites. Very distinct and great flavors. If you order "extra spicy", make sure you can handle it. I order everything that way and they definitely tested me.
Posted 2 years ago by Tony B.
hands down best thai on the UES. amazingly fast delivery, the other day i literally got my order in 11 minutes!
Posted 2 years ago by zeena s.
Everything was excellent! We got 2 different kinds of duck--crispy, perfect! Not runofthemill like most Thai food up in the UES, which is very refreshing. Oddly the weakest thing--by far, to the point of being not really good--were the summer rolls. They should fix that.

Panang Curry was a congealed mess. Just gross looking and bland. Stingy on the rice. Apps were mediocre.

The service is terrible. They sent in food that was too spicy (way more than otherwise)and Would not accommodate Chnaging the order.

horrible. Osha has really gone down hill. I live across the street from them and my order took 1 hour and 15 mins. Then when my food gets here its cold AND the portion is so tiny!!! half the size of what you would get anywhere else. Also they are not willing to make things right unless you pay more. Save yourself some time and stay away.

Best Thai on the Upper East Side.
Posted 2 years ago by Reece K.
Normally, I love Osha - when I dine in, I get good, fresh food and great service at a very reasonable price. However, when I ordered through seamlessweb.com, my food was cold and unappetizing. I would suggesting picking up or dining in here, but avoid delivery.
Posted 2 years ago by Melissa W.
Fried rice is way too greasy.
Posted 2 years ago by Victoria W.
my girlfriend who's Thai travels to the upper east side for this. love Osha.
Posted 2 years ago by Brian C.
Food was 20 minutes late (after the 45-60min estimated time) and COLD when it arrived. They had clearly prepared the food the minute I ordered and then let it sit around so long that the pad thai was a glutenous mass. The fresh roles were in edible. The thai basil beef was passable. Do not order from this restaurant....
Posted 2 years ago by Susanna H.
Awful. Paid for extra vegetables, which seemed to amount to two soggy broccoli stalks. Papaya salad so spicy as to be inedible - and a microscopic portion to boot. I will not order from here again.

Nothing special. Ordered 5 lunches, all were tiny portions
Posted 3 years ago by Josh C.
This was the fastest delivery ever. The food arrived 11 minutes after we got the email confirmation. However, the order left something to be desired. The portions were minuscule -- the Pad Thai couldn't have been much bigger than 3/4 a pint. A little disappointed but would give it another shot.

Very good Pad Thai and very nice atmosphere and decor at the restaurant
Posted 3 years ago by helene f.
Very ordinary food. Not sure what the other reviewers got to rate this place so highly. Got the tom yum, the spare ribs and the bak choy and they were all very ordinary and in case of the tom yum not good.
Gong and Land remain the best Thai options on the UES.

Probably the best Thai in the area. They give you lots of tofu but not much meat. Kea Moa is yummy.
Posted 3 years ago by Shaina S.
the tom yum soup was delicious, perfect amount of spice and tang. spring rolls were also a winner. panang curry was just ok, a little bit of a disappointment since i was really looking for that perfect creamy consistency. would order again but only if in a pinch.

Delivery was super quick but the food was just ok. The Penang curry had a nice flavor, but was so watery it nearly ran off my plate. The Pad Thai was an enormous portion, but didn't have a nice flavor. Nicely packaged for delivery.

I usually order Shrimp Pad Thai. It's good, but not the best I've had. Delivery takes the estimated 40-45 minutes. It's a little longer than some of the other places I've ordered from...

Spring roll were over fried, pad thai was not tvery good either. they did arrive very fast.
they did not follow orders (in the "comment" space. e.g bring some extra napkins"). way too many peanuts (and I love nuts).

My pad see ew was inedible - I threw it out after two bites. I paid for extra vegetables and requested chinese broccoli and received american broccoli that was so overcooked it was grey. I also requested less oil and it was soaking in oil...so much for customizing orders for this restraurant!

good curry puffs, kea moa good and spicy, bok choy good
Posted 4 years ago by Heather M.
I have eaten Thai red curry at cheap pubs across Britain, as well as at many actual Thai restaurants, in New York and abroad, expensive and inexpensive. I never previously had a Thai red curry that I disliked. However, this stuff was horrible, and smelled powerfully of fish -- I got the chicken. If I weren't so hungry, I would have thrown it in the trash; as it was, I could only eat it if I avoided breathing through my nose.
Posted 4 years ago by Reema B.
I never write these, ever, but the calamari here was so bad I have to say something. It was rubbery and inedible, impossible even to chew it was so tough. My tom kar was fantastic and the pad thai wasn't the worst I've had, but please, don't get the calamari.
Though I suppose ordering calamari for delivery in and of itself is a horrible idea, so this could be entirely my fault.
Posted 4 years ago by Ilissa K.
Excellent overall -- ingredients are fresh and the preparation is "clean" -- not your usual sticky, syrupy sauces but good flavorful dishes.
Posted 4 years ago by David L.
This was probably the worst Thai food that I have ever had. I tasted each dish, one worst than the other. wound up throwing it all out, cost me $20.00. I will never order from them again.
Posted 4 years ago by Jo Ann C.
Pad thai had almost no flavor. Soup was mediocre. There are way too many Thai places in this town to bother ordering from this one.
Posted 4 years ago by Brad P.

Be careful of the spicy dishes. I often enjoy spicy dishes from asian restaurants, but this was over the top spicy.

Posted 5 years ago by Sergey B.
Pad Thai was slightly blander than I like (and I don't mean in a hot spicy type of way), but in terms of overall flavouring. Sweet and Sour Chicken was well done, but the chicken was a little overcooked. Dumplings and pomegranate soy were both excellent.

Just ordered from here for the first time today...The food is divine!!! As a Pad Thai junkie, I have found my new fix!
Posted 5 years ago by Kimberly Y.
Osha was a pleasant surprise. Although nothing amazing, Osha was tasty and reasonably priced. With the slew of tastless overpriced Thai restaurants located in the UES (names omitted), it is nice to see there is still a Thai restaurant that provides tasty dishes for a reasonable price without all the goofy "rock" and "chic" the majority of restaurants in New York seem to gravitate towards. I eat to eat, not eat to be seen.
